According to the Chiropractic Act and the Ordre des chiropraticien du Qu\u00e9bec, to practice chiropractic in Quebec, all chiropractors must have previously obtained their Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Science and have successfully completed their Undergraduate doctoral studies at an educational institution accredited by the Canadian Federation<\/em>\u00a0of\u00a0Chiropractic Regulatory<\/em>\u00a0and Educational Accrediting Boards (CFCREAB), such as the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res (UQTR).<\/p>\n

The requirements of this university education are of a duration of 5 years full-time and include 4969 hours of courses (245 credits) and leading to an undergraduate doctorate degree, such as MD, veterinarian, optometrist, dentist, pharmacist and podiatrist.<\/p>\n

Current status of accreditation<\/h3>\n

Chiropractic is the only profession in the world to have an international organization, the Councils on Chiropractic Education International (CCEI) that accredits university programs in chiropractic to ensure the quality of education and skills of graduates. A chiropractor can practice his profession in all countries of the world without problem!<\/p>\n
